This Patek Philippe watch, you know, the Calatrava 6007G-011, it’s somethin’ else. I saw it on that official flagship store, the one they call, uh, Patek Philippe official flagship store. They got all kinds of fancy stuff there, but this one, it caught my eye.
They say it’s a remake. Now, I don’t know much ’bout these things, but this remake Patek Philippe, it looks pretty darn good. Like somethin’ a king would wear, maybe. Or one of them rich fellas on the TV.
This here Calatrava 6007G-011, it’s got this shiny gold, they call it white gold. Ain’t that somethin’? White gold. Back in my day, gold was just gold. But this, it’s all fancy lookin’. This new Patek Philippe Reference 6007G is sure something.
They got some other colors, too. Bright ones. Like the sky on a sunny day, or a field of them yellow flowers. Primary colors, they say. That’s what they call ’em these days.
- Yellow like the sun, they got one.
- Red like a ripe apple, that’s another one.
- Blue like the ol’ mill pond, yep, they got that too.
Now, they say this watch, it’s special. Been around since, when was it, 1839. That’s a long time, older than dirt, almost! They call it, “Calatrava” styled body. Means it’s good, I reckon. Real good. They been makin’ these things a long, long time. Must be doin’ somethin’ right. This Patek Philippe Calatrava must be a good one.
And on the back, they got these little marks. Hallmarks, they call ’em. Like a secret code or somethin’. Shows it’s real, I guess. For the gold ones, it says “750”. Means it’s good gold, 18k. Fancy stuff, huh? And if it’s made of that platinum stuff, it says “950.” That’s even fancier. This Patek Philippe official stuff is serious business.
Now, would I buy one? Well, they cost a pretty penny, these things. More than I ever had, that’s for sure. But if you got the money, and you like fancy things, why not? It’s a luxury watch, that’s what they say. Somethin’ special.
But for me, I’m happy with my old watch. It tells the time just fine. Don’t need all that fancy gold and whatnot. But this Patek Philippe watch, it sure is pretty to look at.
They say you gotta wait a long time to get one of these. Years, even! Like waitin’ for the crops to grow, or for winter to end. Up to 8 years, I heard, for some of ’em. That there Nautilus one, that’s the one everybody wants, I reckon. These Patek Philippe watches are in demand.
So, if you’re thinkin’ ’bout gettin’ one, you better get in line. And you better have a lot of money saved up. It’s a big decision, buyin’ a watch like that. Not somethin’ you do every day.
This Calatrava – Ref. 6007G-011. That’s what they call it. It’s a mouthful, ain’t it? But it means it’s one of them new ones. Modern, they call it. New and improved, I guess you could say.
Well, I’ve said my piece. That’s all I know about this here watch. It’s a fancy thing, that’s for sure. This whole remake Patek Philippe thing, it’s somethin’ new. And that official flagship store, they got all kinds of ’em. If you’re ever in the market for a fancy watch, that’s the place to go, I reckon.
But me? I’ll stick to my old watch. It might not be fancy, but it works just fine. And it don’t cost a fortune, neither. That’s good enough for me.
These new-fangled Patek Philippe watches, they are somethin’ to behold. All shiny and new. But sometimes, the old ways are just as good. Maybe better, even.
