It’s got that same classic vibe, that understated elegance. And most importantly, I made it. Me, with my own two hands. That’s a pretty awesome feeling.
This whole project taught me a lot about watches, about craftsmanship, and about my own patience. It was a ton of work, but it was also a ton of fun. Would I do it again? Maybe. But for now, I’m just going to enjoy wearing my little homemade version of the Patek Philippe Calatrava 6119R-001.
