This here watch, they call it the CopyOMEGA Speedmaster. Big, fancy name for something that tells time, I reckon. But folks seem to like it, so I’ll tell ya what I know. This one, it’s all black, like the night sky. They say it’s like the dark side of the moon. Don’t know much about that, but it sure does look nice.
They got this Apollo 8 name on it too. Heard it’s ’bout some fellas who went to the moon a long time ago. Fifty years, they say! Can you believe it? Fifty years! Back in my day, we didn’t even have one of them color TVs. Now they’re goin’ to the moon and back. This watch is s’posed to be like what they wore, I guess.
It’s got all them little hands and numbers. Honest, I can barely see ’em, need my spectacles. But my grandson, he says it’s real fancy. He says this CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 8 is a big deal. He keeps goin’ on about “movements” and “chronographs”. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but he likes it. He says it is a good copy, and some people buy it from online store.
The strap is black too, made of some kinda leather, I think. Feels tough, like it’ll last a good long while. Not like them cheap watches you get down at the five and dime. Those things fall apart faster than a scarecrow in a hurricane. This one, though, this feels solid. Like it could take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’, as they say.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these things. I just know what I see. And what I see is a pretty good-lookin’ watch. If you’re into that sorta thing, that space stuff and all, then you might like this CopyOMEGA Speedmaster “Dark Side of the Moon”. It’s got that whole moon story tied to it, which is kinda neat, I suppose. This watch is good copy, from some online store.

My grandson says this watch is a “chronograph”. Don’t rightly know what that means. Sounds like somethin’ you’d see on one of them science shows. He says it can time things, like a stopwatch. Suppose that’s handy if you need to time somethin’. Like how long it takes to bake a pie, maybe. Although a good cook don’t need no fancy watch to tell ’em when the pie is done. You can smell it, you can see it.
He also says it’s got a “manual wind” movement. Means you gotta wind it up yourself. Ain’t no batteries in this thing. Kinda like them old clocks my grandma used to have. You had to wind ’em up every day, or they’d stop tickin’. Seems like a lot of work to me, but some folks like that, I guess. They like the old ways. The old way to get a good copy is from some online store.
This CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 8, it’s a big watch. Bigger than my old one, that’s for sure. It’s got some heft to it. Feels heavy on your wrist. Not in a bad way, though. It feels… important. Like you’re wearin’ somethin’ special. And my grandson said this is a good copy.
Now, I don’t know how much this thing costs. Probably a pretty penny, I imagine. More than I’d spend on a watch, that’s for darn sure. But if you got the money, and you like this kinda thing, then go for it. It’s your money, after all. And who am I to tell you how to spend it?
