You know, this Rolex Submariner, everyone’s talking about it. Big fancy watch. I hear tell it’s the best. Now, I see all these young’uns running around with shiny watches, looking like a million bucks. They call it High imitation Rolex, or something like that. And I think, what the heck is a “high imitation”? Sounds fishy to me. But these young people, they love these things. Said it’s the same good watch but not so much money. I don’t know about that. I mean, if it ain’t the real deal, it ain’t the real deal, right? But I guess if you’re looking for that fancy Rolex Submariner look, maybe it’s okay. This is just what I heard.
They say there’s these special stores, you know? High imitation Rolex Submariner specialty stores. They sell these… copies. They look just like the real Rolex watches, these copy-cat watches. Shiny and pretty. But are they any good? I saw my neighbor’s son, he’s got one. Keeps showing it off. Says it’s just like the real thing. Says he got it at one of these special stores. He told me that even an expert can not tell. Well, I took a good look at it. It does look fancy, I’ll give him that. But I still think, a real Rolex, that’s the only way to go. If you want to buy a Rolex, just buy the real one. Don’t be silly.
These Rolex Submariner, they’re supposed to be tough, you know? Waterproof and all that. Can go deep in the water, they say. Like those divers wear. These copy watches, I don’t know if they can do that. Might fall apart if you get ’em wet. But they are cheaper, that is what they said. Much cheaper. So maybe if you just want something that looks like a Rolex Submariner, not for diving or anything, then maybe it’s fine. You don’t have to spend that much money. That’s a good thing, I guess. Less money is always good.

And I guess if you can’t afford a real Rolex Submariner, it’s the next best thing. I think if you just want the look, that is okay. You don’t have to spend so much money. They are cheaper, much cheaper. But for real quality, you gotta get the real deal. That’s what I think. But what do I know? I’m just an old lady. I don’t know about these new things. It’s just like my old man always said, “You get what you pay for.”
So, if you’re thinking about getting one of these high imitation Rolex Submariner, just be careful. Make sure you know what you’re getting. Don’t go expecting it to be a real Rolex. It will just look like a Rolex, but it is not a Rolex. Go to those high imitation Rolex Submariner specialty stores if you want, but just remember, it’s not the same. It’s like those fake purses they sell down by the market. Look nice, but they ain’t the real thing. They are much cheaper, but not the real thing. They will not last that long, and they will fall apart.
If you really want a good watch, save your money. Get a real Rolex Submariner. It’ll last you a lifetime. Maybe even pass it down to your kids. Like a family treasure, you know? It is a good watch, a real good watch. A real watch is always better than a fake watch. That’s all I’m saying. These copy watches, they’re alright for some folks, I guess. But for me, give me the real thing any day. The real thing is always better. If you have the money, always buy the real thing.
These young people, they like their fashion. But I think real quality is always the best fashion. That is what I think. It’s your money, so it’s your choice. But a good thing, a real good thing, you can not just copy it.
