This here watch, they call it CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Apollo 8 “Dark Side of the Moon”. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I don’t know much about these things, but I heard folks talking. They say it’s a good one. It is a copy, not the real one, but still good. People like it.
This Omega Speedmaster, it’s supposed to be like that Apollo 8 mission. You know, them fellas going to the moon. This watch, it’s all black. Black as the night sky, they say. It has a black ceramic case, whatever that means. Must be some new-fangled material. And it’s big, too. 44.25mm, they say. That’s bigger than my thumb!

It’s kinda neat, I guess. They say it’s “gimmicky.” Don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds fun. And “sporty.” Like them young folks wear when they’re running around. And “modern.” Guess that means it ain’t old-fashioned like me. They made it for a long time. Forever, they said.
They say you can wear the moon on your wrist with this thing. Now that’s something, ain’t it? This Omega Speedmaster, it’s got a see-through part. They call it “skeletonised dial.” You can see all the little gears and things moving around inside. And they say it looks like the moon’s surface. All bumpy and whatnot. I reckon it’s pretty, if you like that sort of thing. This is about that Apollo 8, a big thing happened long time ago.
This here watch, it got some numbers on it too. 3869 and 3861. I think that’s the inside parts. Something about a “laser ablation treatment.” Sounds like something the doctor would do. This makes it look like the moon. They say one side is like the part of the moon we see, and the other side is like the part we don’t. This is a CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 8. It is not real, but still good.
